A virtual tour of “KUMIHIMO: The Art of Japanese Silk Braiding by DOMYO Exhibition” currently being held at Japan House Los Angeles is now available on the official website of JAPAN HOUSE LA. The exhibition space is divided into three parts ’the history of the braid, the structure of the braid, and the future braid’. In the history part, Restoration of historical braids are exhibited. In the structure part, you can see the tools remade to transparent or huge one. In the final future part, works collab with fashion designers and mathematicians are exhibited.
