This decorative wall panels series is a collaboration with Paris-based designer Hanako Stubbe.

Inspired by natural Japanese symbols, each design express a different aspect of the natural world: Taiyō (Sun)  a source of vitality, Koke (Moss) embodying softness and serenity, Sakura (cherry tree) reflecting ephemerality and the passage of time.

DESIGNER BIOGRAPHY

Hanako is a hand-weaver and textile designer. She is a graduate of the ENSAAMA and ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris. Her practice focuses on exclusive, made-to-measure artworks and hand-woven fabrics for interior design.
She collaborates with artisans, product and furniture designers, fabric publishers, and interior designers. Through her delicate, meticulous, and sensorial designs, Hanako seeks to explore the architecture of fabric, the interaction of colours, and the material properties. Hanako pays great attention to sustainable sourcing and prioritizes local, ecological, and ethical manufacturing.
