Kumihimo cord has been in our culture from the ancient times.

The beautiful silk kumihimo belts are often seen around the waist of the nobles in old paintings.

And they could still be found when one dresses in traditional kimono for special occasion in Japan.

Today, we would like to introduce DOMYO’s hand braided belts, to deliver more people the experience of the colour, touch and joy of dressing with kumihimo in our daily lives.
