Shosoin Tie Wide

・This tie is made using the traditional “ Anda-gumi” method of Japanese kumihimo. The design is based on the sashes remain extant in Nara’s Shosoin today.

・Many kumihimo sashes which were made more than 1000 years ago using “Anda-gumi” method remain extant in Nara’s Shosoin today. We have succeeded in improving the technique by adding the threads gradually while braiding tie.

・Ties which have just been made feel a little tight, but it will break in to feel soft gradually and comfortable to tighten.

・SIZE  Length 1460mm~1500mm  Width 70mm

・MATERIAL  silk 100%

・This Tie must be dry-cleand, and not wash by hand.

・Please take caution not to expose this product to water, because the colors of the thread may run.
